Video game player – $2

Play video games on your tv with this joystick. Pacman etc Old School games
asking $2.00, gently used
exact cash please

I’m tempted to buy this and give them exactly $2.00, but in unwrapped pennies.

This was listed under “baby & kid stuff” … because there’s nothing better for your baby than video games from the 1980s. I mean, let’s be honest … for a child of the ’00s who has been brought up on Grand Theft Auto and other games, Pac-Man isn’t exactly going to be the most exciting game for them. It’s more likely to appeal to an old geezer like me. Sigh.

Actually, these are the only type of games I let my kids play. They get bored and then stop playing. If we had a game system from this century, they’d be on it all day every day. NES and cheap Atari joy stick games, they’ll play awhile then go back to Legos or riding bikes.

That’s smart thinking, Laura! Do you have 200 pennies to buy this for your kids?

I don’t have 2oo pennies, not even even under my couch cushions (just raisins and legos). I was thinking I’d mail them a money order for $700 and have them wire me the change or something like that…

Be sure to offer to let them keep a percentage of it as a “processing fee”. People love that.

Now I feel funny. I had one of these in my yard sale and refused to come down from $7 to $5. He didn’t buy my xylophone either. Now I see the general consensus is 200 pennies may be too much to give for this awesome antique. *sigh*
