BUY MY VOTE FOR THE 2008 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!! – $10000

Fight the naysayers who told you your vote doesn’t count. Fight them by making it count twice.

Double your impact on the 2008 electoral polls by adding my vote to your cause.

The vote for sale will go to the state of Pennsylvania.

I will need your selections and a deposit of $2,500 by October 28th. (one week before election day)

You know what’s extra great about this? In several states, it’s illegal to sell your vote. It’s always nice to see someone setting themselves up for a felony on Craigslist.

It’s like a get rich quick scam that will land both of you in jail. Plus, it’s illegal to go into the voting booth with anyone anywhere, so you wouldn’t even know if you were getting a return on your investment.

In other instances of this I found in doing my copious research, people have offered to take a cell phone picture of their ballot to “prove” that they voted the way you paid for.

    It’s still slimy.

i can’t believe people value their freedom (*cough*cough*…ahem) so little that they are willing to sell it.

Or that someone doesn’t have strong enough convictions in this election to want to cast their own ballot, especially in a state like Pennsylvania.

Wait – it’s only illegal in SOME states? Does that mean it’s legal in other states?

Isn’t this one of those things that should definitely be illegal everywhere?

55 before the parenthetical, 61 counting the ones afterwards.

    I’m ashamed of myself.

I’m trying really hard to take your word for it and not have to count them myself.

I got 56 before the parenthesis. Did you count the one after the Yay? Or did you miss the one between Wind and Rose, like I nearly did?
