    I am posting on Craigslist, in a city different than the one you are in now. I am posting my text, and I am going to post it again and again until the words of the post run together so that any semblance of meaning, with perhaps the exception of my phone number, is destroyed. What you will read, then, are the words of my post over and over and over. I regard this activity not so much as a demonstration of a Craigslist post, but more as a way to sell a LaCie Lightscribe 16x DVD+/-RW.

    Incidentally, I’m quite amused that one of the tags for the recording in the second link is “exactly what it says on the tin”.

    Katie sends this one in, saying, “Honestly, I’m not sure what it means– is she trying to sell her daughter and her daughter’s friend, as the title would suggest? Because her (presumably) teenage daughter got in a wreck and has acne? Or is she trying to sell the car? I just don’t know. And I don’t think I’ll ever know. This listing made me straight up existential.”

    All I can think is that it must have been one hell of a pimple if it was able to total a Monte Carlo just by bumping into it.

    Even stranger: it was listed under “Events”.

    Unopened Kraftmaid celing cabinet

    We are giving away a brand new unopened Kraftmaid celing cabinet for FREE!! It is green and very sturdy. Comes with two shelves and all of the hardware. Unfortunately, we have no room in our kitchen for it…it can be used anywhere (kitchen, bathroom, garage, shed, etc). First come, first served. Please call (xxx) xxx-xxxx to pick up.

    Hmmm. Good points. Maybe it’s a closed-minded cabinet, and it needs to have its mind opened to the wonders of the world. For that I would recommend it be placed with the table and the Nirvana cabinet; maybe our unopened cabinet will learn something about itself and about the world. (Like how to spell “ceiling”, perhaps.)

    I’m not educated and I haven’t had a whole lot of experiences in relationships, but I do know about relationships and about love and I have had friends and family come to me for advice on relationships and sometimes other things and I was successful on the advice that I have given and I have been told that I’m wise beyond my years.So if you need some advice on relationships or if I can help you on something else, I will surely try, if I can.

    I’ve got to agree. If I wanted someone to live with me in my home and “analize” every bit of my existence, and provide me with a to-do list of my life, I would have let my mother stay longer after her Thanksgiving visit. (Except the non-judgmental part wouldn’t have applied to her. That woman can judge you in her sleep.)

    And what kind of a sales pitch is, “You will eventually get what you settle for with my help”? What is that supposed to mean? “With my help, you will achieve the mediocrity you’ve been sort of wishing you could attain”?
