So would have been cooler to see a picture of each of those black lamps, but also a little weird. But hey if you are taking the time to take a picture why not do every one of a few identical items to “prove” they exist. Wait a second new craigslist scam, take one item you have to sell and take multiple pictures of it in different locations and list it as more than one. But then say you’ll only sell them individually so nobody realizes.
The levolor blinds over the sliding door (I’m assuming) in the black lamp photo(s) remind me of the apartment complex I lived in in college. The coffee table, which came with the place (and was able to support a surprising number of drunken coeds dancing despite its obvious cheapness), does too.
… That I graduated 15 years ago and cheap apartments are still furnishing their units with the identically same crap doesn’t surprise me in the least.
well he does say 3 of them are identical……….maybe he wanted to highlight just how identical they were. Part of me wants to believe that he has actually taken a photo, unplugged the lamp and moved it, replaced it with another (identical) lamp and then taken the same photo (from the same angle)…….but that’s just daft.
It does kinda remind me of Sesame Street though – ‘….one of these things things is not like the others…..’. Maybe he’s trying to add to the fun of Craigslist by including a simple ‘spot the odd one out’ contest.
I have one of those lamps (the kind he’s got 3 of), it’s from IKEA and it will not stay upright nor can it be fixed to stay upright. Best picking up #4 and tossing these three into your recycle bin (they come apart into 3 pieces)… oh wait, #4 looks diagonal too. Skip it.
