Oh, goody – I have lost my Deshumin, and have been wondering how to find it. I never pay tetail, though.

    Oh joy and rapture!

I lost my humin several weeks ago. I’ve looked and looked but couldn’t find ‘im. Now I can with that deshuminfinder.

Once I find ‘im, then I can charge it back up to a humity with fire. Hmm, maybe I should get a playmate for my humin…. oh look… there’s one all ready to go. This is my lucky day.

Can someone please tell me what this ‘humidity’ thing is in the second post? I thought we were looking for the aformentioned ‘humins’. The amount of moisture in the air has zero relevance to our search. God, these things never make any sense.

I think it’s totally related as to how much humins leak.

Sounding that out, it sounds like a Germanic spelling of a Suomi place-name; but that’s Finnish of me to say.

Deshuminfinder? Wasn’t that a German opera about a hummingbird in search of his hum?

    Adores: 8
    • 2010 June 13

I’m pretty sure it was German, but not an opera. In fact, I think it was a dvd I got from the back room of the video store. You really don’t want to know where they finally found the hummingbird.

Sadly, I totally misread as “dehumanfinder” and thought this device might be handy for zombie apocalypse. Apparently I suck at interpreting misspelled and imaginative appliances.

Just remember that the Dachshund’s dry-clean only, and to have it back to the Snark Lounge by 11, and you should be fine.

“Humidity Fire” sounds like the weather here.
the 1105 report being 85º with 74ºDP for 68%RH giving a heat index of only 92º

But, it’s only June, barely eighty-by-eight (a.m.) weather. End of August, that will be humid.

Copy and Pasted from the website of the local news station. This is right now.

      Temperature 93°F
      Dew Point 77°F
      Relative Humidity 60%
      Heat Index 106°F

I think we’ve got it worse out here right now, Cap’n.

DP over, oh 40-50º tends to be bad no matter what.

Gone to 88º feels like 96º just in the last two hours, out at the airport.
        Here at my house I show 91º at the front door (in the shade);
Back porch (sunny) showing 95º–50% overcast skies have kept
the attic down to only 99º (down from 105º).

It’s all hot. All normal for here, for this time of year. Just is.

Just humidity tired–catulator is lounging on the cool wood floor with only his head on the rug. Looks like a good idea to me–will make more iced tea and put racing on.

98° here in the DFW area. No idea what the humidity is but my hair hasn’t been dry all weekend. I’ve been here a decade and it still makes me miserable every year. Does one ever get used to Texas weather?

Well, looking right now as of 1800CDT, 75229 zip is reporting
93º DP 70º 46%RH for Heat Index of 99º mitigated with SSE 17 gusting 31

Is it possible to get acclimated? Must be, I seem to every year. Does not make it nice out, and rivers on both sides of the county keep it damp, but it is home, and that’s where I live.

Oh, and in the case of umlauted catulator, you should place your hands over the back of your neck, bend forward and assume crash position, since ¨ is the shape of a catulator in freefall straight at a person.

Ooh, an auto restar! It was getting so tedious to star things again manually. I don’t mind starring things once by hand, but after that, let the machines take care of it.

Ah, but the devil’s in the tetails:
“In an excellent conditions” but not one that will deshuminfind your house, nor for that matter one that has been seen outside the local landfill. Only handy if you are going to stack the smaller working deshuminfinder that you have on top of it, ala console televisions.
